One Time or Monthly Giving

Donating monetarily once, or better yet, monthly, is a great way to make a huge impact on the rescue and shelter bunnies directly, especially if you don’t have time to volunteer or adopt, this is the next best way to help keep HRRN saving the lives of domestic rabbits throughout Central Texas. The rabbits appreciate every dollar!

Your donations help us educate, rescue, adopt, and promote rabbit welfare. All transactions are securely handled through PayPal. If you wish to donate monthly, upon clicking the “Donate” button below you’ll be taken to PayPal where you can check the box under your donation to make it a monthly transaction.

Specific Donation Funds

Rojo’s Medical Fund

This fund is in honor of a brave little bunny who came to HRRN with abscesses on all 4 feet, bad teeth and severely malnourished. On October 2, 2014, Rojo hopped over Rainbow Bridge after succumbing to a brain infection. He had 18 months of love from all the volunteers at HRRN. This fund lives on to provide medical care and attention for severely injured and mistreated rabbits at HRRN.

Robin’s “Tree of Life” Wellness Fund

In May 2017, we lost a long time friend of HRRN, Robin Juhnke. Robin was a tireless supporter of wellness and health for our bunny guests, both as a volunteer and while working at White Rock Animal Hospital.

Each recipient rabbit of this fund is given the “Wellness Package” consisting of Microchip, Flea/Ear Mite Treatment, Internal Parasite Treatment and Prevention, and Pasteurella Vaccination.

Special Donation Campaigns

Special Donation Campaigns often come up as the need presents itself.

For example: In the past, we’ve had a donation campaign for a rabbit and her kits (babies) that we found under someone’s house. The babies were newborn, and needed special medical care. We ran a $1,000 donation campaign for Porsche and her babies.

Items Needed for the Shelter

Our rabbit-only shelter uses a lot of different things to keep our shelter clean and safe for all of our bunnies, volunteers, and adopters. We’re currently working on an Amazon Wishlist but in the meantime, if you’d like to donate some items directly to HRRN, please email us and ask what is currently needed most and we’ll happily let you know!

Auction Items

Every year, we have a silent auction at our Shelter Holiday Party. All proceeds from the party and auction go to House Rabbit Resource Network. If you have items you would like to donate to our auction, please contact us and we’ll be happy to take them for our auction.
