It’s okay to want to spoil your rabbit with “sometimes” treats! Here are a couple of our favorite recipes that are sure to make your rabbit happy and begging for more.

Pumpkin & Parsley Bunny Treats

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz. can of pure pumpkin
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups pellet flour (ground rabbit pellets or siftings)
  • 1 cup chopped fresh parsley

Baking Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Spread or drop cookie style on cookie sheet
  • Bake at 325 F for 30 minutes
  • Let cool and serve to your bunny

Homemade Rabbit Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of your bunnies food
  • 1 banana
  • 2 carrots

Baking Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Start by chopping up the banana and carrots into slices.
  • Grind your bunnies food up so it becomes powdery
  • Puree the banana and carrot slices in the blender.
  • Put all of these ingredients into one bowl and mix until completely combined.
  • Take a bit from the mixture and roll it into a ball.
  • Place onto the baking sheet.
  • Repeat this with the whole mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes so they harden.

Now you can give your rabbit 2-3 every day depending on the size of them. These also make perfect rabbit training treats!
