| Amplify Austin begins Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 6pm and ends on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 6pm HRRN’s PowerHour this year is Thursday, March 2nd, 12pm to 1pm. Read more below for information on what the PowerHour is, and how it can help you “amplify” your donation even more by helping HRRN win an extra $1,000! Amplify Austin is House Rabbit Resource Network’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Without the money we raise during this 24-hour giving period, we couldn’t offer the life-saving medical treatments to the 100+ rabbits that come into our shelter every year. This 24-hour giving day that makes a HUGE impact on our rabbit rescue and other nonprofits throughout Austin, so please share this email and invite your friends, family, and coworkers to our Facebook event so that we can get as many people as possible to donate and make a world of difference to our shelter bunnies. |

| For Amplify Austin 2023, House Rabbit Resource Network’s fundraising goal is $25,000! We’ve broken up the $25K goal into 5 donation levels, so you can choose exactly where you’d like your money to go. While you can donate whatever amount you’d like during Amplify, we’ve put the average cost of what each service type costs for a rabbit at our shelter. So donating $5 to the microchip level essentially gives one shelter bunny a microchip, and gets them one step closer to being ready for adoption! (Every rabbit at our shelter receives all of the below before they can be adopted). |
 $5 Microchip Level—provides a shelter bunny with a microchip, making it that much easier for them to find their way back home should they ever need it $20 New Bunny Intake Medications—provides a shelter bunny with de-worming and de-fleaing medications $40 for RHDV and Pasteurella Vaccine—provides a shelter bunny both of these essential vaccines $65 Feed the Shelter Bunnies for a Month!—Just like the title says. Provide the shelter bunnies hay and pellets for a month at the shelter while they wait for their forever homes $125 Help Provide a Spay or Neuter Surgery—helps provide one shelter bunny a spay or neuter surgery so that we don’t continue to provide our shelter and local shelters around Central Texas with more unwanted and abandoned bunniesNo matter which donation level you choose during Amplify, every little bit helps, and we appreciate everyone’s contribution.So About That PowerHour… Now for the really important part that makes your donation go further, and what makes Amplify so awesome: House Rabbit Resource Network’s PowerHour this year is on THURSDAY, MARCH 2, from 12pm to 1pm For those who aren’t familiar with the PowerHour, it is an hour within the 24-hour giving period where nonprofits “compete” to get the highest number of unique/individual donors during their specific hour—this is counted by each unique email that donates. One email = one count towards our numbers. P.S. If you have multiple emails, you can spread your donation out between all of them to “up” the donor numbers more. Ex: Donating $20 by using 5 email addresses donating $5 each helps us more during the PowerHour than donating $20 using just one email address. PowerHours are running the entire time during Amplify, but HRRN’s is on March 2 from 12pm to 1pm. During our special PowerHour, whichever nonprofit gets the highest number of unique/individual donors wins the PowerHour and the $1,000 monetary prize! HRRN has won our PowerHour for the last 4 years in a row. We know we can do this again and show all those dog and cat rescues what we bunny-folks can do! During the PowerHour, what matters is the number of DONORS donating, not the amount raised. So, the more people we can get to donate during this hour, the better chance we will win the $1,000 prize.
