Giving Tuesday is coming up on December 2nd, 2025, the global day of generosity when people all over the world come together to support the causes they love.
House Rabbit Resource Network will be raising critical funds for rescue, medical care, food, and safe housing for the rabbits in our shelter. This is one of our most important fundraising days of the year and we need our community with us.

At House Rabbit Resource Network (HRRN), 100+ rabbits rely on us every single day for safe housing, medical treatment, food, and enrichment. We are Texas’s only no-kill, rabbit-only shelter— a resource found nowhere else in the state. But we’ve outgrown our current facility.
Why a New Shelter Is Needed
- We cannot expand any further at our current location
- Intake needs continue to rise across Texas
- We need dedicated medical, quarantine, bonding, and adoption spaces
- Rabbits deserve a safe, species-specific environment designed for them
- A permanent, purpose-built shelter will allow us to help more rabbits, better, for decades to come

An Important Note from our HRRN President: “We very much appreciate when you remember HRRN with a year end tax deductible donation. Did you know that in 2026 there are new limitations on charitable donations being deducted off your taxes? This makes 2025 a more attractive year to make donations for some supporters. Contact your CPA for more details.”
