Special Announcement to the General Public About Visiting the Shelter

House Rabbit Resource Network is not a public shelter. If you are seriously interested in adopting, we ask that you fill out an adoption application here: http://rabbitresource.org/adopt/adoption-procedure/. This guarantees you have time reserved with a volunteer during your visit who can fully answer questions about any of our adoptable rabbits and the adoption process.

We understand that many people are interested in stopping by and browsing our shelter bunnies, but are unsure whether or not they are ready to adopt. Unfortunately, we do not have the volunteer numbers to accompany each person who visits to just browse, and it takes attention away from important tasks needing to be done by those volunteers. So, if you are interested in seeing who is available for adoption, but don’t want to make an appointment just yet, please feel free to take a look at all of our adoptable bunnies on Petfinder here: Adoptable Rabbits. This list is constantly updated with our bunnies who are ready to find their forever homes. If you find one that you are interested in meeting, then please fill out an adoption application and let us know who you’d like to meet.

NOTE: You are welcome to fill out an adoption application without having a specific rabbit in mind. We’ll be happy to help you find the rabbit(s) that are perfect for you and your family.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

House Rabbit Resource Network
