VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Jeana has been with HRRN since 2007. She began as a cage cleaner; after a few years she moved over to feeding on Tuesday evenings. Her duties included feeding, watering, and giving meds to the shelter bunnies. Five years ago, the volunteer coordinator position opened up. Because of her faithfulness and reliability, as well as her friendly and kind personality, Jeana was asked if she would like to take on the position. Jeana accepted the challenge, and has made extraordinary progress with evolving and organizing the volunteer side of the rescue. Jeana works full time running her own business along with being the volunteer coordinator, and has eight bunnies of her own. As well as adopting her rabbits from HRRN, Jeana rescued and rehabilitated a wild rabbit that was injured as a baby in her yard. 8 years later and she still has the wild bunny with her domestic rabbits. Jeana is a veteran rabbit owner who gives rescue work her all. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to anything bunny, and offers her knowledge and help freely to anyone in need. HRRN is incredibly blessed and thankful to have Jeana on our team.
