We Took in 25 Rabbits This Past Weekend…
We want to give a BIG thank you to everyone who helped get the shelter ready for our unexpectedly large intakes this week.
These poor rabbits were living outside, being used as breeding bunnies. They are 4 months to 7 years old, and the first 13 we took in have ear mites, so all 25 have been given ear mite and flea treatment.
We are asking for donations towards these bunnies Wellness Packages. For a $25 donation, one rabbit gets:
- Microchip
- Flea/ear-mite treatment
- Intestinal parasite testing and treatment
- Pasturella vaccination
We also want to give a huge shout out and thank you to all our regular volunteers who provide the bunnies with hay, water, pellets, clean litter boxes, socialization, the list goes on… we hope you won’t mind caring for these buns that need a second chance!
